Disregarding the fact that ‘virginity’ is a bullshit concept, the blond girl in this gif is completely right - there’s no more with not having sex, not wanting to have sex, or not being ready for sex than there is with having sex with as many consenting individual’s as often as you desire.

Virginity should NOT be seen as a curse nor used as an insult.

Five years ago, I had a dumbass classmate who used “virgin” as an insult. God, I absolutely HATED that year of highschool. Perverted douchebags as classmates and a bitchy teacher whose pet was one of them. I wish I could slap them across the face for being arrogant.

Virginity isn’t a curse or a bad thing, and should never be considered as such. In fact, I have high respect for anyone who’s waiting- whether it be till marriage, until they are ready, or whatever. I myself am waiting, and that’s because of both religious and very strong personal reasons. I know I’m worth waiting for, and no one is going to compromise that. Sex does not make or break a relationship…at least, it shouldn’t. It is only a small part of a relationship. Plus, you only give up your virginity once. That is a special gift to give someone. Why would you want to give it away so soon?
